To the editor:
We want to thank the people of Cazenovia, as well as all the town boards for all their help and support over the past several months.
We have purchased the Jephson House on Ridge Road. Our intent was to open a bed and breakfast, but at this time that cannot come to fruition.
We felt it would have been a wonderful way to share this house with the town. Our intent is still to share the house with the town.
We love being involved with charity events and would be happy to allow use of the property for that purpose.
We cannot thank John and Judy Whittle enough for standing by us through a long process and for passing on the honor to take care of this extraordinary property. We are honored to do so.
We didn’t find the house, the house found us. We feel the house has a voice of its own and it chooses its caretakers.
We look forward to meeting you all and please feel free to contact us for your events or any other ideas you may have on sharing this property.
