Cazenovia With the holiday season fast approaching, Project CAFÉ is getting ready to host its fourth annual Toy Shop on Dec. 9 and 10 at Burton Street Elementary School.
In the past, Project CAFÉ members have collected, repaired and sold gently used toys, books and stuffed animals.
Last year, the event was a big success with an accumulation of 1,335 toys, 922 books, and a total profit of $754 that was used to support other charitable causes. This year, Project CAFÉ plans on continuing the tradition of giving back to the community.
Please help by dropping off gently used toys at any of the following locations: Common Grounds, New Woodstock Free Library, The Key, St. James Church, the First Presbyterian Church, Cazenovia elementary, middle and high schools, as well as the Children’s House locations.
Donations are also welcome, and can be sent to the Project CAFÉ office at P.O. Box 408, Cazenovia, NY, 13035.
Get in the holiday spirit early by donating your gently used toys to make a child’s Christmas special.
