To the editor:
Drs. Susan and William Groetz are announcing their retirement starting April 1, 2013. Due to Obamacare mandates, the sweeping changes in the New York state workers compensation laws and new Medicare mandates, it has become very difficult to have a private/solo practice in New York state.
We thank all present and past patients for the opportunity to treat and care for you during the past 27 years. We are saddened by this decision because many of you are friends and have become like family to us both. It is now time to retire. We have tried to find someone to take over the practice, but have had no success. We will miss you all dearly. Thank you again.
